Prog legends Coheed and Cambria closed out their summer 2025 tour on September 21 at Woodinville’s Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, just outside Seattle, with support from Taking Back Sunday and Foxing. Typically a seated venue known for its relaxed, wine-country atmosphere, the winery transformed for the night into a rock venue, complete with an open pit and barricade to match the energy of the lineup.

St. Louis post-hardcore outfit Foxing opened the evening with a mix of tracks from their recently released self-titled album, wrapping their set with fan favorite “Rory” from 2013’s The Albatross, complete with frontman Conor Murphy on trumpet.

Taking Back Sunday followed, celebrating the return of guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino. The band leaned heavily on Louder Now, the last record Mascherino helped write, delivering a nostalgic set for longtime fans who sang along to classic TBS tracks such as “MakeDamnSure,” “Liar (It Takes One to Know One),” and “Cute Without the E (Cut From the Team).”

After a recording of The Father of Make Believe opening track “Yesterday’s Lost” played, Coheed and Cambria took the stage and continued into “Goodbye, Sunshine.” The band’s performance was flawless throughout the set, with the crowd singing along throughout every song (and even had a few fans crowdsurfing). Mid-set, they reached back for fan favorites like “The Suffering” and “Blood Red Summer,” even going all the way back to their debut album with “Everything Evil,” drawing some of the night’s loudest crowd reactions. The performance was elevated by striking production elements–vivid, dynamic lighting that mirrored the mood of each track, and the return of the towering Blind Side Sonny inflatable, looming at the back of the stage throughout most of Coheed’s set. By the end of the night, Coheed and Cambria had delivered a career-spanning performance that reaffirmed their status as one of rock’s most consistently powerful and imaginative live bands.

Coheed and Cambria will continue touring in October, with a UK/EU tour featuring support from Haken–dates and tickets can be found here.
