PHOTO GALLERY: If Not For Me Rocks Detroit

Saint Andrew's Hall | Detroit, Michigan | October 11

If Not For Me stopped in Detroit on Sunday, supporting Wind Walkers on their “I Don’t Belong Here” North American tour. I had never seen If Not For Me live, but having listened to them, I was excited to see what they could do on stage. They kicked the set off with "Retrograde" from their latest album, Where The Light Begins To Fade, which came out earlier this year, and it was the perfect way to get the crowd moving and set the tone for the rest of their set. By the end of their second song, "Broken Throne," they had already proven that they sound just as good live as they do on the record. The vocals sounded strong and clear, and no one missed a beat in their performance. Moving through the set and keeping the momentum rolling, frontman Patrick Glover kept the crowd active with ease. I definitely don't see myself missing them the next time they roll through Detroit.
