Saint Andrew's Hall | Detroit, Michigan | November 25
The night kicked off at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit with Armor for Sleep, who wasted no time setting the tone. Opening with “Stay on the Ground,” they had the crowd moving right away, and their energy never dipped. Their eight-song set was tight and engaging, making for a strong start to the evening.
Story of the Year followed, entering the stage hand-in-hand before breaking into hugs and then tearing into their new single “Gasoline” from the upcoming album A.R.S.O.N. They kept the momentum high, mixing in tracks from across their career. Fan favorites like “Anthem of Our Dying Day” and “Tear Me to Pieces” had the crowd singing along, and of course they closed with “Until the Day I Die,” which brought the house down. Their set left the audience buzzing and primed for the Senses Fail who were closing the Detroit show.
Senses Fail took the stage to deafening cheers, immediately launching into “Buried a Lie” as the crowd erupted again. The energy in the room was electric, with constant crowd surfing and nonstop movement. Their massive 16-song set pulled from across their catalog, including highlights like “Calling All Cars.” They wrapped up the night with “Can’t Be Saved” and “Bite to Break Skin,” sending the crowd into a frenzy and ending the show on an explosive note.
